Diane's Story
I'm a professional standup comic and comedy writer. I've been on "The Tonight Show" with both Johnny and Jay. Also: "Letterman", HBO, many "Merv Griffin"s, Evening At The Improv"s, etc. Career took me to Europe, the Caribbean, Central America, all over North America and...Oakland. grandparents survived '06 earthquake and my Grandpa Nichols was one of the men who built the Golden Gate Bridge.He put the cables in. So, I take no crappola about San Franciscans from anyone. We ARE special people. When my widowed Mom died two years ago, I sold our home on 35th & Anza. It all seems unreal, not to belong in the neighborhood anymore. I've lived in LA for decades, but I've always kept part of me in the Richmond. Tony Bennett said it best.
