I have been married and divorced - longest marriage was 19 years.; I have four married sons; four DIL, two live in /the Seatle, WA area, one in Maine and one still in CT. I have 8 grandkids & three great-granddaughters. As far as my career goes, I worked for Attorneys for 30 years as a Paralegal and I loved my job. I am now retired and bored! I'm very creative - I've custom made macromade (sp) lawn chairs, floral designs, etc. In 2003 I was rear ended by a truck which resulted in being wheelchair bound for 1 1/2 years; 4 surgeries and a hip replacement. God was good to me - no wheelchair - only drawback is I can't walk long distances. I love to travel - good thing with the 3 families in other states. LOL I recently got rid of my house in Lisbon and moved to Plainfield. I'm still full of pi$$ and vinegar. The 3rd Wed. of every month the local classmates of 1959 Fitch graduates meet at Par 4, Shennocosett Golf Club at 5:30 for dinner. Come on down even if you didn't graduate and join us in laughter! It is so great seeing each other again. Some have not changed; some we don't even recognize. Many of you guys didn't even have facial hair; now many don't have hair on your heads. LOL But we are happy to see and chat with everyone! Even you used-to-be bullies. Ha, ha! We can trade email addresses at that time because I don't think they let us do it here. If they do then send me yours. I'm good at sending jokes - especially about people young like us. Diane
UPDATE 9/14/11 Saw my surgeon today as a result of having a CAT scan. He advises I have another back surge...Expand for more
ry as I have been having trouble walking and pain that medication doesn't help. I knew it was coming but I'm not in any hurry - please remember me in your prayers. Thanks!
UPDATE 2015 - All is well except back didn't fuse properly but I'm in excellent health except for the inability to walk long distances without pain still persists. It doesn't stop me from being super active. I have only a cell phone if you want to contact me I'd be thrilled! I can't put the number on here, unfortunately, but I think cell phone numbers just went public. .After having children I gained a lot of weight. In just this past 6 months I lost 40 pounds on a nutritional program.It's fabulous! I have energy I never had even when young. Contact me if you are interested in doing the same for yourself. BTW, Lots of us still meet at Par 4 on the 3rd Wed. of the month. Don't be shy-come join us... there will be somebody that you know and some that will remember you! It would be great to see you! I now have 5 great grandchildren. All girls! Four in Brememton (near Seattle) WA and one in Maine. When your kids start becoming grandparents it's wonderful and scary at the same time! Now that we are all 73 don't you wonder how we got this darn old this fast? Because we can't put our email on here you can still goon line and find me. Please try to connect with me! I'm going off paid Classmates this month, June. Maybe you'd want to know what 'clicks' are still that way. LOL It really is fascinating to see where everyone spend their pre-retirement years!
