Diane's Story
My life has not followed the "typical" path - marriage, kids, house with a white picket fence, divorce, grandkids (are we really old enough to be grandparents?) Until I came to Florida in 1987, my life was in a holding pattern. Running away at the ripe young age of none of your business was the best move I ever made. My only regret is that it wasn't done sooner.

eeing me in high school? What they didn't tell us "misfits" back then is that our life starts later! (My niece saw my senior picture and didn't recognize me. Thank you Mother Nature and Dr. Ott).
My "hobby" is competitive ballroom dancing - it's actually more of an addiction. Wonderful exercise, beautiful costumes, and a rush better than any drug. It is not like "Dancing With The Stars" - it's better. I would encourage anyone to try this sport. It will do more for your self esteem than therapy or Dr. Phil.
