Diane's Story
Hi,
Time passes so quickly as we get older. I am interested in perhaps attending a class reunion. I Just recently moved back to Whittier and feel quite comfortable in the area. I am looking to find a new church and get involved. A lot happens in 30 years.
I have one son, Jonathan. He is married and living in Northern Ca. They have 3 children. Last year my 6 yr old grandaughter was diagnosed with liver cancer. She has been at Stanford Children's Hospital since September 2007. What a courageous little girl. She got a liver transplant in February 2008, but everything seems to be a battle. I'm sad I can't do more.

ician installing and repairing phone systems, voice mail, wiring for voice and data, calling card swithes and in the end alarms and video camera systems. I decided I needed to find a job that I would still be able to do as an old woman and decided that I've seen a lot of old nurses. I went back to school and have been a licensed vocational nurse for one year. I love old people and have chosen to work in the nursing home setting.
I also stopped using the name Diane around 1991. I didn't like it anymore. It was my middle name anyway. I now go by my first name Karen. One day I will change my married name back to my maiden name. Just a lot of other stuff to do.
