Diane's Story
At this time in my life I would have thought in a perfect world I would be married with children, and grandchildren who lived close enough to know me, living happily ever after rocking away in my old rocking chair. Not meant to be, so I enjoy my quiet times, more than I should admit.
I've lived in and around Portland, OR since 1989. I miss the weekly drives to Santa Cruz, but greatful to live in
Portland. Oregon and Washington are beautiful and green.
Lost my son in Sept. 2011. That took the wind out of my...Expand for more
sails big time. Daughter is married with 6 kids. They live several states away so I don't get to see them often.. My sister lives 40 miles away and we are both too busy to visit each other very often, so we talk daily. Folks still doing well, dad will be 82 soon and still rides dirt bikes. YIKES!
I work, and am lucky enough to love my job and am planning on working for at least another 10 years. Can anyone believe we graduated 42 years ago? Gosh damn I am getting old. And loving every second.
