Involved in music programs at Redford. Played field hockey. Involved in Berean Baptist Church. Spent 5 years in Navy (active duty) with add'l 11 years in Navy Reserves as Intel Officer (LCDR). Worked for Dept. of the Navy as civilian with 25 years service. Have one son adopted from S. Korea when I was stationed in Japan with first husband. Earned a BA in Special Ed from University of W. n FL for 20 years (Pensacola and Jacksonville). Spent 4 months in Haiti after the devastating earthquake in January 2010; it was a life-changing experience. Since then, I have traveled to Haiti 10 times, most recently after the August 2021 earthquake. All glory to God! Currently involved with my church (Independent Church of Big Sandy) and at Hope Center Rehab Center, Paris TN. Am owned by pet African Grey parrot. Finally jumped out of a perfectly good airplane for my 67th birthday…what a rush!
