Where to start? I currently live in Austin, Texas. Austin is an liberal island (in the conservative state of Texas) of natural beauty, diversity, culture and the live music capital of the US! Voted year after year as one of the "best places to live in the United States" and I agree! :-) I am married (42 years) to George, with whom I fell in love with when I was 16, in Middletown!! Yup, sometimes those early relationships do work out! Yeah! Yeah! In 2007, I retired from many years working at The University of Kansas. There, I was the Director of Supported Education Research & Training. My research studies, training & focus was upon post-secondary (college/univeristy level) education for those with disabilities. I also taught in the KU School of Social Work with an emphasis on the Strengths Perspective, Clinical Case Management on the Master & Bachelor level.
