rk/night auditor for Shilo Inn while my daughter and I ran a small restaurant where I met my husband in Nov. 1990.
It had always been a joke that I would retire at age 40. Well, I turned 40 in March of 1991 and retired in late August at the request of my boyfriend when he asked me to marry him. It's been 16 years and I haven't regretted retiring at such an early age. I found that there were lots of things to do to keep me busy that I hadn't had time for before. I'm loving every minute of it.
I have lived in Eugene, Or for almost 22 years now. I lost my soul mate and the love of my life in July 2012. Life is so different without him. I will be moving back to Echo at the end of April 2013 to be closer to my family. I have loads of friends here in Eugene, but being with family is very important to me.
