Diane's Story
Life
Hi,
In high school I moved from AK to IA then from IA to OR. My dad liked to move. My favorite HS was West Valley. I still miss AK and hope that some day I will get to come back for a visit.
Since that time I married a Marine and have been married to that same great guy for 23 years. We have 2 kids, Myke and Lauren. Mac and Belle are our 2 Scotties. We semi retired back to OR where we started out. Lee was a career Marine and retired in 05 after 20 years in.
I love to quilt and if you knew me way back then you know I loved to sew. Now I quilt and have been doing that for the last 17 years. I am an avid gardener with passion for ...Expand for more
roses. I love to bicycle and I still make time to hit the weight room. I starting lifting back in IA. I found it helped with the teenage angst. Anyway I am not a body builder but I do like to lift. I am still 6'2" for those of you who are wondering. Unlike then I really do like being tall now. Most people can't look down and see your grey hair ( not that I have any:).
Guess that is about it. To whom ever reads this I hope your are doing well also.
A little update. I own a quilt shop named The Cotton Patch in Keizer, Oregon. If you are ever in Salem, just drive about 3 minutes north and you will be in Keizer. Stop by and say Hi.
