Diane's Story
I have lived in British Columbia, Canada since leaving school. I have 4 children, Susan,38, Jason,34, Joey,30, Debbie,26. I would not give them up for anything. I did get married a week after school was finished. I lived on a fruit farm for 36 years, a beautiful place. We have went on my favorite vacation, cruises in Mexico, went to Hawaii a few times. My oldest child, Susan lives in San Jose, California, so I go there all the time. My life has been full(with all my children and four grandchildren)I would not change that. I no longer work. I did work as a cosmetician, I was also a sales rep for a company, so I did travel sometimes. Right now I'm on a diet(which I'm sure others can relate to) but it's going to be tough. urned 57 today, August 20th. We are all getting old, but all in all, it's been fun.
Most of the time I'm pretty quiet, especially since I'm no longer am working. I have a tendency to clam up and not complain. I need to stand up for myself. Relaxing is usually going on the computer or watching TV. Yes, I know this is a bad habit, but I seem to always have something in my hand to read. Of all things, decorating and gardening are my very favorite things to do.
I'm also am into clothes, always have been. When I got my first job at the Tivoli theatre I realized I could buy my own clothes. I have had some beautiful clothes thru the years and still like to wear something stylish. I hope that never changes as the years add up.
