Diania's Story
Time to update.
I moved to Oregon in 1970 where I married my husband Ken. I have one son . He and his family live in Milan New Mexico.
Ken and I had a really good life, we ranched, I learned what being poor was really all about, we spend thirty of those years off the grid. Mostly because it wasn't available where we lived. We worked various jobs,
I became a Licensed Tax Consultant and an Enrolled agent with IRS. In 1998 we leased a gas station in John Day and started a small tobacco shop there. We don't smoke, but was a heck of a way to make a living. It grew and grew. We ended up w...Expand for more
ith two stores, one in John Day and one in Pendleton Oregon. At the same time we owned and I operated an office supply store along with my tax office. Those years flew by but were good. Ken passed away in February of 2010 and I'm currently running the stores. .
Made retirement halfway when I sold one of the stores. The other one keeps me occupied.
March 2012. Wow time has gone by so fast. I'm still working part time but the rest of the time I'm just enjoying life. Heading for a trip to the Galapagos in May. I'll post pictures when I get back, I've also been to Equador and Costa Rica
