Dianna's Story
Graduated from Monte Vista in 1971 as Dave Ganzer.......I am now known as Dianna Leason.
Still married to my wife and partner, Kati Ganzer.
Began my transition in 2017. (I'm a late bloomer!).....I have never been happier!!!!
I've spent the last 36 years in aerospace......planning to retire next year.

I've always been into aviation. My Dad taught me to fly in the families airplane.
I got involved in Homebuilt airplanes in 1975, and was lucky enough to go to work for Burt Rutan, One of the most prolific aircraft designer ever!

couple amazing mentors while I was at Scaled Composites that inspired me to get more education and move from the shop to the Engineering department.
I've spent the last 30 years doing aerospace engineering on some very interesting airplanes!
while working for Aerovironment, I have received awards from the National Aeronautics Association for flying a UAV to new altitude records.
Kati and I own and fly an airplane that we built in our garage (our 3rd). The farthest we've flown it is, all the way across the country, to visit my good friend, and MVHS graduate, Dennis Hansen, in Rockland Maine.
