Dianna's Story
After graduation I worked for a year in the jewelry department at Magic Mart. Then I entered UALR and got an art degree in 1980 and worked in graphic arts for a long time. I married Mike Noe in 1986. Mike was a stock broker at Dean Witter Reynolds. He was a Vietnam Veteran and died in 2009 from complications of a disease he contracted while serving. He had 2 children from a previous marriage. It has been tough without him, but life goes on. I now live with my 90 year old mom, her cat and my dog. My dog is the sunshine of my life. I enjoy painting, cars,...Expand for more
gardening, travel, reading, cooking, meditation and yoga. I needed to change careers so I became a medical massage therapist. I became enlightened to energy work while my husband was sick. I crashed and burned in my second career too. My mom passed away at 94, so here I am alone again except my dog and I recently took in a Cat for a relative. I am retired now and can't decide to stay that way or try something else, not as energetic as I used to be. I enjoy being on my own and hope to pick back up on art for my own therapy. Life is good despite the pain.
