Dianne's Story
HELLO,
My name is Dianne "Hennick" Donald. I attended Sweet Home High School from 1967 to 1971. My graduating class of 1971 has had a few reunions and I know that some of us have seen each other, but if you are like me you have forgotten at least half of what you saw and who you reunited with.
I left Sweet Home right after graduation in 1971 and moved to a town north of Seattle, named Bothell. In 1976 I married my husband John Donald and we are still married today. My first marriage and his second marriage. He had two children from his previous marriage. Their names are Tara and Bill. Tara is married to Tony and they live in the Denver, CO area and Tony had 2 children from a previous marriage. Their daughter Val and her husband Aaron made them grandparents and in turn making us great grandparents. Josh is now 15 months old and as cute as a bug. in Florida and have 2 darling daughters making us grandparents too.
We live in a small community across the water from Seattle and have been here for about 11 years. We are both retired and John free lances back to Boeing working 4 to 6 days a month. Not a bad deal if you can get it. He retired from Boeing with about 30 years of service. Most of my working career was as a legal assistant working for various attorneys in the area.
About 1-1/2 years ago we purchased an older motor home and have done a little bit of traveling and camping with it. Our 4-1/2 yr old dog, named Harley loves to go in it too. We still travel to Sweet Home periodically because my brother Ron still lives in Sweet Home and his kids are in the surrounding area. So, does my Dad, Hal and my step-mom Juanita live there.
