Dianne's Story
Life
I am a Realtor with RE/MAX Realty Centre in Eustis, Fla. and have 2 sons ages 34Will) and 36(Ty). Ty is married and has 1 amazing little son, age 5,We have a small farm in a beautiful area near the Ocala National Forest about 45 miles north of Orlando, and I have lived here for 38 years with my husband, Jim, who was a Central High Graduate and my high school sweetheart. We moved to Orlando in 1974, then married and moved to Lake County in 1978. Worked for lawyers for 12 years, then "retired" to stay home with my kids. I homeschooled the boys for 8 years, then went back to work as a Real Estate Assistant for my former partner. We formed a partnership shortly thereafter, and we worked together for 9 years until she retired. My husband Jim is retired and mostly works to keep up our properties and help me in my business. tion business a few years back that he operated for 26 years. We manage to get to Memphis to visit Jim's sister every now and then and I can't believe how much it has changed! I love being a Realtor, especially in such a beautiful thriving area. We have tons of lakes, natural springs, rivers and, believe it or not, lots of hills! My kids are my greatest joy! They are really special and independent and smart! We all have great fun here on the farm! We used to raise cattle, and hand planted 7,000 pine trees 23 years ago, so we have our own 10 acre tree farm! Life's been pretty good, all in all, and I guess I'm holding out o.k. in spite of the toll 71 years can take on you! Older and wiser with a good quality of life, and I have hopes and wishes for the same for anyone taking the time to read this! Look me up sometime when you are around the area and take care!
