Dick's Story
I'm working my 28th year with AT&T (Pacific Telephone, AT&T, SBC, PacBell, and AT&T again), and am retiring the end of this year. My career is a little different than most. I worked for 20 years, then left the company but stayed in the telecom industry for 15 years. I came back to SBC/AT&T in 2000 and was able to put all my time together after 5 years.
I have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren ( 5 granddaughters and 1 lone grandson). I am married to Dawn and have been for almost 18 years now. She is my best friend (nea...Expand for more
t, huh?). We look forward to retiring together and spending more time doing things together and enjoying our different interests, too. When we retire we are moving out of the rat race and to Visalia.
I hope to find some folks to play music with when I retire. I haven't played drums much in the last 20 years, but am working on getting back into it now. I enjoy photography, picture matting and framing, golf, reading, walking, exploring, and on and on. My list of retirement activities is about 3 pages long and growing!)
