Diego's Story
Look me up as JUAN DIEGO ORTEGA.
Left High school ('87) and went to college and farted around for a while. Then I finally went to beauty school after many fights with my dad about it. Turned out to be the best thing I could have done at that point in my life. I worked for some of the best hairstylists around then managed a salon which I ultimately bought. (Salon Diego in Yorba Linda). I met my wife in the process got married and now have three kids. This part I never thouhgt I would do, I never wanted to get married let alone have kids but, I have to say I am so glad ...Expand for more
I did! My wife and kids are my life. I work with very talented stylists and they make my job a lot of fun. I do regret not keeping in touch with any one from high school. Although I didn't have a lot of friends the ones I did have were great and I have some very fond memories.
PS. In school I was known as Juan Ortega. My middle name is Diego and that's what my first boss thought I should go by because there was another Juan in the salon already. I became known as Diego in the industry and it stuck.
