Dirk's Story
Life
Hi,
After high school I majored in Architectural Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I went on to receive a Master's Degree at Berkeley in Structural Engineering. I took a job at Robert Englekirk's office in Irvine, CA and also taught engineering in the evenings at Cal Poly, Pomona & U.C. Irvine.
I was married to Kristen in 1992. In 1996 we had our first child, Cameron, and when he was 6 months old ...Expand for more
I started my own structural engineering firm (and stopped teaching in the evenings). Since then we have had two more children (Ryan 1999 & Elizabeth 2002)and live very happily in Laguna Hills. Business has gone very well and we have some noteable projects in both Northern and Southern California.
Cameron is quite a little baseball player now, and I am the assistant coach of his team (the Dodgers!).
Life is good.
