Dixie's Story
I was married for 23 years, have 3 great kids, then remarried (15th Anniversary this year) added 2 more kids, now have 7 grandchildren who are awesome! I retired from working as a Primary Care Nurse then decided to "come out of retirement", and started my own business - a Home Health Agency. We have 5 pets - 2 Sulcata's, 1 Leopard and 1 Greek - all Tortoises! I have a new baby Cockatiel who thinks I am his mommy! I spend my time running my business, taking care of Grandchildren, working on my Family's Geneaology, have ASU Football season Tickets - love that, and am now addicted to Wii. I enjoy getting together with some "old" classmates whenever we can....we are always able to pick up right where we left...Expand for more
off. I am on a quest to find everyone who graduated from AF in '67 (pre and post)- and trying to re-connect, I guess that getting older (ouch) has kind of kick started me into this adventure! I am doing great health-wise....could lose about 20 lbs, but...oh well !! Our 40th Class reunion in 2007 was really great, I loved seeing many of you, only regret that we couldn't find everyone, and grieved the loss of several classmates, but hopefully we will have another chance soon - when the class of '68 has their 40th reunion in October 2008 - our class is invited to the Saturday (25th) get-together...hope everyone can come....we can do it - we aren't going to wait until our 50th !!! Let's all stay in contact !
