Dixie's Story
My current age is 56. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old as dirt. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm a good and loving person, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as not.
I share my home with 2 basset hounds and several grand children as often as I can , which I find interesting and fun most of ther time...challenging some times, I seem to be slowing down and harder to keep up with all of them.Imaginge that?

We planned on her back step when we where 12 what we where going to do with our lives far away from So. Pekin.I was going to be an Artist for Disney and she was going to be a great Chef.She was closer than my own sister.We had our good and bad times but in the end she knew how I felt even when the world turned against me. We had the last great talk and she knew.I carry that day now and it keeps me going on my worst days when I really need her she promised to be here and she is I know.She left us on dec.1,2005.Always in my heart and thoughts.Time goes on and so do I...
