Dolletta's Story
I am retired from the Federal Government. My brother, Terry, died in March 2005...I still miss him a lot.
I went deaf July 31, 2008 (sudden hearing loss)...if it ever happens to you go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY...I did regain about 17 percent of my hearing WITH my hearing aid (sad face)
Going from a world with sound and music to a world of silence is most difficult when it happens so suddenly.
I am president to the Intertribal Indian Club of Tulsa Veterans Color Guard and hosts one of the largest indoor pow wows in the State of Oklahoma. Will be changing locations to the pow wow this year, the Fai...Expand for more
rgrounds personnel ...I will just say are different. The new administration does not have the "community spirit" and customer service that was given to events in the past. Can't understand how the new administration is running the books in the red. Previous administration was always in the black and the fairgrounds prospered. I helped support the Vision 2025 package, and other attempts to raise money for the City/County of Tulsa...I agree with a story in the Urban Times that something is Phishy going on with the fairgrounds.
Basically just trying to take it easy and play with the grandchildren.
