Dollie's Story
Life
Since I wrote this about a year and a half ago, my husband passed away, on Nov 24, 2007. It has been a very difficult year.
On Nov 3, 2008, the adoption of my oldest grandchild Allison was final. I now have a 15 year old child. Not much has changed, she has lived here since she was born.
Grandchild 9 will be here about March 29th. This will be my daughter Jeri's first child.
I'm still at Methodist Healthcare, probably until I retire, (if that ever happens:) Don't see a light at the end of the tunnel yet.
Old Story:
We were just blessed with our 8th grandchild, Ericka Annsley. We now have 3 grandsons, 5 granddaughters. Our 4 children all live nearby. We also have Max, our very spoiled beagle.

our 29th anniversary. Jerry, my husband, is retired from the military and right now is out of work on disability. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last Sepember, but things are looking up. He had very early symptoms. He just finished chemo and we are praying for continued improvement.
I am employed by Methodist Lebonheur Healthcare in Memphis in the Patient Financial Services Dept. We have been in Memphis for 15 years, since he retired from the Army.
I am very sad that we are not going to be able to attend the Class of '72 reunion this year, but due to Jerry's health we can not travel that far right now. The reunion committee has all my contact information so I hope to hear from some old friends.
