Shortly after graduation my family moved to the Seattle area because my Dad was transfered to a Navy base in Seattle. A few months later I packed up and moved to Beeville, Texas to marry a Navy guy I knew in Glenview. Over the next twelve years we lived in the San Diego area, Memphis area, Virginia Beach, Gary IN then back to CA where we lived north of San Fransico until 1967 when the kids and I moved back to the Seattle area. In 1978 I met my current husband, Duane and we married in 1980. We continued to live in WA until his brother asked us to move here to MN in 1990 because he needed help caring for their elderly parents. I had hoped that after they were gone we'd be able to move back to WA but Duane became very ill and moving is no longer in the cards. Between the "yours, mine & ours" we have 6 kids ranging in age from 29 to 44 years, 11 grandkids ranging from 5 to 26 years and 2 great grandkids ages 7 and 12.
