Dolores's Story

I loved high school and always wanted to return to the west coast to enjoy the ocean and the sun. I went off to Philadelphia for college, Houston for medical school, San Diego for residency in radiology, Denver for fellowship in ultrasound and a few years on the faculty before landing my dream job at UCSD as a specialist in High risk Fetal Ultraso...Expand for more
und. I was sleep deprived for my whole career but didn't know it til I retired in 2019. I thought 5-6 hrs a night was normal, now I sleep 7.5 hrs and it is divine. I still love the ocean (bodysurfer), but now I'm learning golf (humbling). My best friends from high school (Helen Steele Hartwig and Nancy Norberg Orabuena) are still great friends!!!
