Evelyn's Story
Life is pretty good for me. We have been married for 25 years,and have 2 children. Shelby is 18 and Mark D. is 22. Mark D. will be completing his second year at the Culinary Institute of America, he is a fantastic chef. Shelby just graduated from Torrington High School. Forty years after her mom! She will be attending Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) this Fall and entering into the Science Exploration program. She is interested in neuroscience. We will be experiencing the empty nest syndrome when she leaves. I have already rejoined the gym and perhaps I will start competing in races again. I hope my husband and I can figure out what to talk about after she leaves. He is a wonderful guy whose main goal is to take care of us :).

ting a home that was built in 1769. Right now Mark and I are painting the exterior and plan on installing a new garage roof. Maintenance has always been an issue, but it has been an interesting experience. We plan on building a log home in a couple of years in a State yet to be named :) I'm hoping for warmer weather, i.e. North or South Carolina and Mark would like to return to New York state. BRRRRRRRRRR.
My parents still live in Bethany, Mom is 82 and loves ebay, Dad will be 83 this July. He still rides his bike 7 miles a day in good weather. Hopefully they will stay healthy and we can enjoy them for another 10 or 20 years.
It was good to see all of you who attended the reunion (even though I couldn't remember all of you), but heck it has been 40 years.
