More about Domo:""I awoke with a start,
Much like one awakes from a nightmare,
And I observed the scenery around me.
For some peculiar reason I was high in the peaks
Of some unknown mountain range,
One so high that it reached past the clouds
And appeared to scrape the underbelly of the sky.
All was peaceful and quiet and there was no sign of life,
But that of the mountain shrubbery and mountain
Grass. All of a sudden a strong gust picked up
And parted the clouds that were just below
The lip of the mountain edge. I peered below
And I was met with quite the peculiar sight;
I spotted a strange bird, much like that of
A raven, that was quite emaciated to the point
That you could see its ribs. It was standing atop
A dry mound, and now that I take a closer look,
May have been tilled earth, where one might have
Grown food. I continued to look and I was met with yet
Another odd sight, this time that of a mouse.
Now the mouse was missing fur in many places
And had strange growths sprouting every which
Way, giving it a homely appearance.
Flies buzzed all around it's head and worms crawled around it's pustules.
Now the mouse was standing near a rather disgusting
Pond, all covered in algae and swarming with
Mosquitoes and all sorts of other insects. These images
Blew away like dust and I beheld two more images, this time
One of a rabid dog and one of a glowing peacock.
Now the rabid dog was, of course, quite mad in
The head. It was frothing at the mouth and was ready
To attack anything that came near it with such ferocity
That none could hope to approach it. Near it stood the frame of
A burned out house, still smoking as if it had
Happened only the other day. N...Expand for more
ow as for the matter of
The peacock, its radiance shone like that of the sun.
It stood atop a pedestal that appeared to have been
Built for it by many a admirer. The peacock was very
Proud indeed and its face bore that of
Pure arrogance. A man stood next to it,
And spoke only of the peacock's greatness,
Causing its pride to grow, and expand its
Reign over the broken people whom
Saw his radiance as hope in this broken
And forsaken world. This image then too,
Was swept away as dust in the wind and I was
Met with another image, that of a great struggle.
An army that followed a being I had yet seen,
A modest lamb, was caught in a battle with
The peacock's followers, whom hated the lamb
Whole-heartedly, for they feared the lamb
And all that it stood for, which I had found very confusing,
For the lamb stood for all that was good, right, and
Was completely loving and accepting. The peacock's
Forces attacked with hatred and anger, and it seemed
Hopeless for the followers of the lamb.
But then two other beasts appeared, these were
Of a lion and of a dove, and the smote the peacock
And his army and sent them into a pit of flame
And burning oil, lost for eternity. They then re-established
The world, a world more perfect than it ever had been before
A trumpet was sound and praise and sounds of joy
And happiness were raise to the three victorious
Beings that were the lamb, lion and dove.
Which was odd for even though they were individual,
They were also at the same time one and the same.
This image was, yet again, swept away as dust,
Only, this time, as was the mountain upon which I had stood.
I fell towards the Earth, and blacked out, only
To be awakened by the sound of music. I
Opened my eyes to find myself lying in bed, my
Alarm clock frantically beeping its accursed sound.
A dream? I thought. But possibly quite more.
This all sounds so familiar, as if I've heard it all before.
The starving raven, the disease ridden mouse,
The rabid dog and the proud peacock,
The lamb, lion and the dove all sound familiar
But all I know is this; beware the mouse for its
Disease. Beware the dog for you know not when it
Will snap its jaws. Beware the raven for it may steal your
Food, and beware the peacock, for it seems like a pretty
Rude dude."
