Donald's Story
I was actually on track to graduate with the Class of 74, but I attended summer school in the summer of 73 and completed the two needed credits to graduate. I joined the Marine Corps in April of 1973, and after summer school I left for boot camp in September. I originally went in on an open 2 year contract. Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, attending Basic Electronics School. The short story is 20.5 years latter, I retired from the Marine Corps. I am now the Operations Manager for a Scale company in Augusta, Ga. I travel to Columbia, Charleston and Savannah as well as the Augusta Office. I love my work! Still love to fish and hunt. Hiking is also a favored pastime of mine.
