Don's Story

After graduating from High school I went to Brigham Young University on a football scholarship. I went on a church mission to Rio de Janeiro Brazil in 1984 and was fortunate enough to be in a Sports Illustrated article in September of 1985. I returned and played football at BYU and coached as a graduate assistant after I graduated from college in Mathematics Education. I then went to Union High School in Roosevelt, UT where I taught math, was the Department head, Head football coach and assistant basketball coach. While at Union, I was asked to present regionally and nationally at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. I quit teaching in 2000 and worked for Casio, Inc. as an Education Support Specialist. While at Casio, I was the top salesmen for 3 periods. Casio laid off the entire Education division because of the recession in 2002. I went back to teaching and coaching. I started on my first Masters Degree a...Expand for more
