Don's Story
After graduation at Muir I attended PCC and graduated in 1957. Worked as a lineman for AT&T. Went to Edison and worked on transmission construction crew after the recession reduced the work load at the phone company. Decided to return to school and became a full time student at L.A. and administrator for the Pasadena and Arcadia Unified School Districts.. Nine of the years were spent at Muir as an AP. Met my wife Cheryl Knowles, Muir class of "60, in 1964. We just celebrated our 50th anniversary. We have two girls Kristen, a teacher and coach at Vista Murrieta H.S. and Colleen, a nutritionist in Boulder, CO. Kristen has blessed us with two grandchildren, Brock and Bridgette. Hard to believe all of this began 60 years ago!
