Don's Story
Life
While most of the Henry teachers were unremarkable, I remember History Dept Head Lu Bob for his verbal and physical abuse, George Gluppe the one trick Olympic pony, for his timid sex ed classes, VP Don McVickar for his even handedness and fairness. And of course, lets not forget that self important little jack ass - Principal Jack Foote. All in all, high school was OK - a good training ground for life.
Had a pretty good run at life so far.
My wife Karen and I built and ran our own business for 28+yrs in financial transaction processing. We are retired and living in the Caribbean. You can find us either at our home west of Nassau or on our yacht. Funny how life mellows one!
While we trek back to Toronto periodically to visit friends, we are always glad to get home south.
We spent May in Venice & Sorrento this year (2011) and will be spending time with friends in France next year.

Still south. But sold the boat last year. Upkeep on a yacht is like Neil Young's album - Rust never Sleeps.
Missed the reunion. Looked as thou there were going to be very few classmates from our years. Would have liked to see Lawrence Kraus again - arguably our most famous (notorious) classmates?
Heard a rumour from a later year attendee that the aforementioned gym teacher ran away with one of his female students. So maybe he learned something from his own sex-ed classes after all???
Summer in Canada is grinding to a close. Off to Paris soon.
Spent Sept, & Oct 2016 in Iceland and Greenland. Iceland was great. Green;land, while Danish controlled (disputed), is like any other region controlled by Indians - broken homes, broken cars, unfinished construction.
Acquired a new race car (pic taken on grid at Daytona). Having fun getting used to it. Will start racing in earnest in the fall.
