Don's Story
Life
Before CVUHS, I went to Coachella Elementary. There I ran around with Ron Alford, Frank Thorne. We chased after Janice osgood, Sylvia McCook and Claudia Clellen. At CV, I was in the Cadet Corp and worked, cooking hamburgers in the snack bar. I was in the Navy and served in Vietnam, where I was wounded just below the left knee. state of Washington. I was married for 23 years. I am now a widower. We had three children. My youngest son was a...Expand for more
rock musician, but died at 33 of a heart attack. I have four grandaughters. As of Oct 29th 2007 I'm a Great Grandfather, ugh.
I retired from the Grocery business. I started out with Lucky stores in Las Vegas, Nv. Was hired by Safeway Stores of Arizona, then Albertson's in Texas.
I'm an outpatient of the Veterans Hospital in Big Spring, Texas. Old age isn't what it cracked up to be. I was really looking forward to retirement, but old wounds have curtailed a lot of things I would like to do.
