I considered myself an "agnostic" until I read George H. Smith's "Atheism: the Case Against God." Smith neatly devastates the classical arguments for God's existence. But before doing this, Smith lays the ground rules of needing to understand what the term "God" means, what knowledge is, and, finally, the importance of the truth.
Today, in my fifties, I do not believe that God or any supernatural entities exist. If anyone has proof that he or they do exist, I would love to see it.".
