Don's Story

Life I live near Santa Cruz and pretty much remained a surf bum. I am a retired Art teacher. (39 years) I am still coaching swimming and waterpolo at Ohlone College. I am married to a wonderful woman (Loretta)...Expand for more
. We met in college and eventually got married. We have been together ever since. We have 3 pretty great kids (not perfect) They are all moved out now. We have 3 grandsons. (at this time) I surf way too much.

Another Southside morning.....I love getting up early and smelling the smell of salt air mixed with the wet ti plants....with a hint of jasmine in the air.....heading north today to hike and surf hanalei in the afternoon
Ok all you "big stickers"...saw this shave ice flavor at ono ono shave ice in Kapa'a. With mac nut ice cream, coconut cream snow cap, with a bit li hing mui powder....ah..almost heaven
