Don's Story
I moved to Vermont 10 years ago, and worked for Vermont Information Processing. One of my big clients was Grey Eagle Distributing in St. Louis, so I got to come back often. My wife Linda and I retired about two years ago. She works in a little bed and breakfast here in Waterbury part-time. I've volunteered as District Coordinator for AARP Tax-aide, doing Tax returns for old Vermonters. It keeps me moving in the winters, when it's -20 degrees here! Lodge ( remember the Von Trapps from "The Sound of Music"?) is about 7 miles from our house. Haven't snow-skiied the last two years, but plan to next year...
We love living in a little town in Vermont. It's like the 50's here. No traffic, no billboards, don't have to lock your house. Need a big-city fix occasionally...the closest is Montreal, but we usually go to Boston.
By the way, my Brother Alan, class of '67, is now single and actively seeking wealthy, elderly women in the Maplewood area. He lives in Webster Groves.
