Don's Story
HI! I'm Don, I worked at the funny farm
in Norwalk after graduation. I stuck it out there for seven and a half long
years. While working full time there I
also worked in masonry part time. Then
I joined the brick layers union and worked at that until I broke my leg
motorcycle riding on the weekend. I later got licensed by the state to do
Termite control Inspections. I worked
again part time as brick layer while
doing this. I got bored with both of those jobs and drove truck cross country for a while. I got tired of being away from home so much of the time so I quit that and pull...Expand for more

When that got old I went back to work for state at Patten State Hosp., was
there for 5 1/2 years when I got my back broke one night at work in 1989. The state put me on disability retirement and I've been working at that ever since, unless you want to count going to rehab., and becoming a locksmith which I have loved for the last 20yrs.
While the above was happening my wife and I had three kids, thirteen grandkids and at last count four great grandkids. I thank God every day for a
wonderful very patient and very understanding and very loving wife
