Don's Story

Hi! Regards to everyone! Feel free to contact me if you know me. Having grown up in Glendale, Ca. and graduated from Hoover High School in Glendale and then from the University of Redlands, I got a teaching credential and then promptly decided that the last thing I wanted to do was teach (nice career plan, eh?). I went to work for Wherehouse Entertainment (where? the Wherehouse...) first in store management and later as a video/movie buyer. During my years at Wherehouse, I: Moved to the South Bay Went blind- well, Legally blind Got married (inheriting a son in the process) Had a daughter Got diagnosed with M...Expand for more
ultiple Saclerosis THEN I was disabled from my job and moved my family to Idaho (my parents lived there and were in poor health) Wow-lots has happened! I am happily married with 2 great kids and hope all of you are doing well! I re-read the above and thought "kind of a downer life, dude!" Regardless of how the flat facts may read, I assure you I'm doing well and hope some of you will fill me in on your lives. I still love music and enjoy talking about it. Still love The Beatles, Elvis Costello, The Ramones, Green Day, Dylan, Loudon Wainwright III, Little Feat, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Mozart, et al. Later Don Lane
