Don's Story
Left Piner in '69 and joined the Navy a month later. Did a couple of years and then came back to Santa Rosa. Became a roommate of Gerry Bowers and went to SRJC (Criminal Justice). Married in 1973 to a girl from Sebastopol. First child (Kym) in 1974. Second child, Don in 1976. Worked for the Dept. of Corrections (San Quentin) from 1974 to 1988. I worked as the prsion 'crime scene' photographer for 5 years (what a fun asssignement that was!) I was medically retired in 1988 due to a job related injury. anagement, working all over the Bay Area for the past 20 years. I worked notable places such as: HP Corporate, Visa Corporate, TransAmerica Pyramid, Cushman & Wakefiled Commercial Property Managment, Electronic Arts (EA Games/Sports) and in 2006 came to Children's Hopsital, Oakland (where I plan to retire from.
Been twice divorced, but remarried in 2000(in the Philippines)to a great gal named Florenda.
I am looking forward to retirement, but still have a few years to go :(
I would consider myself a full blown computer geek and a family history buff.
