Life
After working since high school, I am getting ready to retire at the age of 55 while I still have time to see some of the United States.
The last of 2 children has graduated in June 2000
In 2 years I will retire with over 30 years in Law Enforcement. Fellow classmates if you have a parking space for a pickup w/travel trailer and/or camper which ever I have at the time I retire,AND if you could stand looking an old fart in the face for a few days or less--Then please email me and let me know. 2004 UPDATE
AFTER SURVIVING 33 CRASHES IN POLICE CARS IN 30 YEARS, CAUSING AN $8 MILLION DOLLAR JET TO CRASH IN THE AIR FORCE, SINKING 2 ALUMINUM BOATS, CRASHING 6 GO-KARTS IN SHRINER PARADES........
I have retired to a peacefull live of semi-retirement and AM NOW DODGING PARKED AIRPLANES AND JUMBO JETS AT THE MOJAVE AIRPORT WORKING FOR THE SECURITY ON THE AIRPORT.
I KEEP GETTING THAT CERTAIN URGE TO...............once in a while
2008 UPDATE
After trying to takeoff in an airplane with NO FUEL and NO TIRES it was a mutual agreement between me and Mojave Airport that I seek other employment OR BE SENT TO THE LOCAL NUT HOUSE FOR EVALUATION. So in 2005, I moved to Reedley, CA with my second wife to take care of her mother. I am now working for CAMPING WORLD in Fresno selling RV parts to the those who RV all the time. If you are ever passing through Fresno,CA stop in and say Hi. at Paul Evert RV/CAMPING WORLD. I can get you 10 to 20 percent dicount on your purchases.
2009 UPDATE
Due to the sagging economy, the doors of Camping World in Fresno were closed perminently in August. Leaving me and 8 empolyees out in the cold and on unemployment, includung the store manager..
So now I am trying the Retired status once again to see if I like it.
As of January 2010 I am liking the retirement so well, I purchased the ballcap with RETIRED on it and wear it every day now, even to my fishing hole on the Kings Ri...Expand for more

2010 UPDATE
I have discovered that when you leave high school, you lose contact with almost 90 per cent of those you were close to in school. Over the years you lose more of that 10 per cent remaining..
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that a 1958 classmate only lived 8 miles away and had lived there since 1961.
I had a visit with Judy Deuschle Gregory Feb 18th and learned that we were practically neighbors for 4 years and didn't know it til the school bells rang for the 2010 reunion.
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 2010 REUNION IN SEPTEMBER TO RENEW OLD FRIENDSHIPS AND HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE
SEPTEMBER 2010 UPDATE
Well class, the Multi-Class REUNION is over and is history. I want to personally thank each of you who made it to the reunion. You made the reunion "A REUNION TO REMEMBER". To see the older classmates brought joy to my heart.
You helped me rekindle friendships. All of you will be in my heart forever. There will never be another reunion like this one.
A special THANKS to Cathie(Notar)GREENBERG and NANETTE(Nelson)MILLER for being committee members and helping put this memorable reunion together.
To those who were there, you kept John Hamilton busy the entire weekend taking pictures of everyone and for the CLASS PICTURES that were taken.
A special THANKYOU to Bill Morris for donating his MUSTANG FOOTBALL JACKET to the raffle.
I want to apolize to Gerri(Miles)Busick and Allyson(Brown)Stark for teaching their husbands how to WIN while Gambling.
To those classmates who missed this REUNION, you missed a hell of a good weekend where fun was had by all who attended.
As to another reunion in 5 years, we will see what happens by then.
God willing we will all be able to attend the next one.
GOD bless each and everyone of you for letting me be a part of your lives for one weekend. MEMORIES, MEMORIES and more MEMORIES will be had by all who came.
