Don's Story
Posted 2024: At 25 I moved to California looking as much to avoid Illinois weather as seeking opportunity and adventure. After 40 fulfilling years in the grocery industry, I retired from my position as a Corporate Director in 2015. My beautiful wife Connie and I have been married for 37 years (1987) with three great kids and seven grand children who make our world go around and fortunately, all live within miles of our home. Spent time traveling in France, Italy, Venice, Spain, Croatia, Australia, Canada and Mexico as well as sever...Expand for more
al extended ship cruises to the Mediterranean and Alaska. With our Motor Coach we enjoy camping, especially with our kids and grandchildren. Yearly we attend the Hot Rod gathering at Reno's "Hot August Nights" with our Resto Mod 55' Chevy and after 54 years, still riding Harley motorcycles and together, Connie and I have enjoyed half dozen Sturgis So. Dakota Rallies. What ever the Good Lord has in store for me in the future is unknown but I've already received more than I've ever deserved. I wish everyone well and a healthy future.
