Don's Story

Life Well folks things have recently changed in my life, after more than 30 years working on ships around the world I have settled down with a shoreside job that I will be able to retire from, and be home every night during the process. Last year I built a new home in the Kern River Valley of South Central California, about 60 miles east of Bakersfield in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I am able to spend my free time wandering the mountain roads and seeing the area that I now live in on a motorcycle that provides me more relaxation than I could have imagined. Still married to my wife of 20 years (Janet) who is fiesty enough to keep me out of trouble, or go out and get in it with me. So life is good!!!
