Don's Story
Note from Don: After THS I went to Central University, where I graduated with a BA in 1968. I taught science and math for 2 years and returned to CWU as a Head Resident at Davies Dorm and acheived an MBA in School Administration. After teaching in Burien, Aberdeen and at Tahoma High School, I finished my last 14 years in the Cle Elum school system. After 30 years I retired from WA schools. re I taught middle and high school for another 5 years. After 5 hurricanes in one season and other reasons, WA looked very inviting again, so we returned and settled in Selah (next to Yakima). I taught 3 more years at Davis HS and then everything changed overnight when my wife of 32 years was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away 6 years ago, and I am just now returning to life as normal. I love to garden, photography, boating, fishing, crabbing and all related activities. Life is great again!
