Don's Story
Life
After 2 years in Fuerth, I quickly escaped to California where I became a dinosaur at 36 years old. As life changed for the different, I got to show my son the value of an education and returned to school. Initially intending to get a certificate, I hung in there, parlaying it into an associate (Los Angeles Pirece College 2004, Addiction Studies), then a bachelor (IUP 2008, psych) and am 1 1/2 semesters away from my masters...Expand for more
in community counseling (IUP 2011). My my my, how life can change. I was a weird kid who was blessed enough to have this second chance. I hope and pray that I can live up to the chances I've been given.
BTW, the hair is there because I'm still a student. Just like when I got my undergrad degree 3 years ago, the next time I graduate it gets donated. I like the personal connection I will have with someone I will never meet.
