Don's Story
I was a Naval Aviator (co-pilot) for almost 10yrs. As I was leaving the service I developed clinical depression during the last four months. I have been symptom free most of the 22yrs that I've had clinical depression. It's taken some maintenance to make that happen. I learned many lessons with my experience over the many years. huge need for this kind of information. I have spoken to classes and groups and as a result, some of the story's I've heard are heart crushing. Too many kids are considering suicide as you read this. Speaking about this subject has become my passion and my calling. My Facebook page (with the same name as my book) will also provide more info and a picture or two.
The rest of my life facts are simple. Just celebrated 25yrs with my young bride. We have 2 kids and 3 grandchildren. I personally built our retirement home on a lake, have a patent and am in the process of improving my kite boarding skills with my wife.
Basically a pretty dull life, so there is no need to go into the cancer, hernia and the return of darkness of depression this last year. I'm also in the process of a second book that will go into more personal information and another level of this depression that was even eye opening to me. But life is good and I hope it is for you too.
