Don's Story
I'm an import from Dayton, Ohio. In my youth, I studied music, dance and art; all at my parents insistance. When I think about all of the culture that I've been introduced to, I must thank them for their insight, love, and fortitude.
I chose music to be my vehicle of self-expression during my scholastic years. Playing in bands, for school choirs, weddings, and church functions was where I developed as a semi-professional musician.
The "Dance Bug" hit me at a time when I needed to earn extra money. While accompaning dance classes, I saw myself on the stage. I started taking classes & soon joined 2 dance companie...Expand for more
s. I was having the best time of my life.
At the same time, I began singing with a group of schoolmates. We eventually toured the states singing background for an "Elvis" impersonator. After that came to a screaching halt, I came to San Francisco for a 2-week vacation.
Well, that vacation lasted 8 years. I fell in love with the Bay area, and decided to make it my home. Now the fun begins . . .
