Life
Apparently Classmates expect me to make sure this remains posted. Short version: Left Tenafly and spent next 6 years picking up a BA and MA at the University of Texas in Austin; worked another couple of years on a doctorate at Texas Tech Univ. in Lubbock but didn't jump through the right hoops... worked as a master's level psychologists, mostly for the state of Texas, in Mental Hospitals, State schools for persons with mental retardation and twice (including the last 9 years) in juvenile corrections. Married twice, both times to Texans; first for 7 years and coming up on 25 with Paula. We have 2 kids that I got to join when they were 9 and 11. Paul is an Occupational Therapist with a private contract practice in East Texas; he is the father of one daughter. Sue is in Austin, working as a Program Manager for...Expand for more
National Instruments, and the mother of 2 boys who will be 2 and 4 next month. Her husband, Rich, is a restaurant manager, so we always eat well in Austin.
Paula and I live on the grounds of a juvenile correctional facility (i.e. junior prison). Paula is managing editor of the paper in nearby Monahans Texas. Our house is in Pyote (look at a map of Texas... the north-south border of New Mexico and the panhandle of Texas (i.e. the right side of New Mexico); follow the line down until you reach Interstate 20... that juncture should be about where Pyote is. During WW II, it was the largest bomber base in the US and the Enola Gay was parked there after the war. (currently, it has about 179 residents, plus those of us in the suburbs).
Except for being grayer, fatter and slower, not all that much has changed for me.
