1. Dog N' Suds was the only burger in town...
2. You call it "A" Town...
3. Millies Pancakes was around before Dapper's & I-Hop...
4. You remember the National food store which became the Addison Roller Rink, now its Alta Villa Banquets..
5. You remember the Pink Pony...
6. Remember the cornfields which is now Farmwood..
7. You remember when Driscoll never won a football championship...
8. You remember shopping at Venture and Goldblatts..
9. Stardust Bowl was a teen club The Galaxy "aka" DILLIGAF'S..
10. Pretty much everyone you knew was Italian!!
11. The place to meet on Friday nights was "The Bell"....
12. You could find just about anything you wanted at Green Meadows Shopping Center...Ben Franklins....
13. The old Zayer...
14. The movie theater by IT which is now a medical building...
15. When Louis Reservoir was a restaurant and always underwater...mafia cars parked in front....
16. Triggiano, Italy is Addison's sister city..
17. The best place to people watch was Denny's from the big corner booth in the smoking section....
18. It was cool to hang out at the Kmart parking lot!
19. Your favorite steak joint in town was Ponderosa...
20. You used to "party" back in "The Fort" before North Farmwood was built...
21. The Tub House/Reactions Dance Club....
22. You would skitch 6 blocks in 10 below weather up to Amaco to steal a pack of bubble yum...
23. You drove a shiny new car, windows down, music blasting, gold chains, big hair chicks and wore really tight Sergio Valentes...
24. Everyone knows your business..
25. Anyone from Taylor St. to Berwyn, Melrose Park, Elmwood Park thought you lived in "Gods Country" and now they all live in Addison...
26. Pepe's Tacos was actually our finest dining.....
27. It was fun to ride your bike at "Honda Hills"....
28. When you could hang out at the F&M parking lot and the cops would actually join you.....
29. You thought everyone was Catholic until your 30th birthday...
30. When Dairy Queen was a jean place that carried Gloria Vanderbuilt, Jordache,Sergio Valente and even Guess......

32. CVS and everything next to it used to be wooded...

34. When you used to have a membership to BOGARTS video...
35. You remember when President Carter came to town! Ordering a pizza meant you could choose from Uncle Pete's or John's or Nardi's or Chuck's....
36. You hung out at Mitchell Field..When the public pool was across from Stardust....
37. You remember the pay phone number at Pantry One ..630-543-7013...
38. SkiHi Drive In...and if you you tried to sneak in the back, the car with the big spotlight mounted to the front grill was on the lookout!
39. You could go to the Pantry One and buy cigarettes at age 14...
40. When Halloween consisted of shaving cream fights in Farmwood....
41. When you would walk to Tommy's from the neighboring sub-divisions to get the hot dog special...
42. Remember Tastee Freeze and Fairway Drugs...
43. You went to AT and were told your Speech teacher was a famous actor. When in reality he had a less than a minute role in sixteen candles ( Mr. Bowers)....
44. Remember when you could actually go shopping at 3 a.m at Jewel and not be the only one there.....
45. You would stop at Jack in the Box for tacos on the way home from the city....
46. When Oak School was the only school in town K-8...
47. The 'Big Dipper' ice cream store next to Dominick's that was owned by Dogs N Suds...
48. When they found body parts on top of Stardust Bowl...and everyone thought there was a serial killer on the loose!
49. The "Big Slide" ...where Links n Tees is now....
50. The old library was inside the municipal building....The Venus Lounge (Lake St. & 8th Ave.)...The annual flushing of the city water lines (rust ran for days!)
51. Hub's Hamburger Hamlet at Lake & Mill...Fannie May at Lake & Mill...
52. Fayva Shoes..Guidos grocery store..Dolly Madison outlet store on Lake Street...
53. The Odeum was a minor league hockey rink...when Robert Plant rented it out for a week to gear up for a tour...
54. Carp fishing at salt creek....
55. Free grub from the BK Lounge ...
56. The Adventureland amusement park in Addison
57. Brett Hull (hockey) went to school with you like any other kid in Addison...
