DON's Story
Life
I graduated in June 1958 and retired from Allegheny Teledyne June 1998. I was the President of the S H H S Alumni Association for over 20 years until this past July (2011). I also volunteer at WQED Pittsburgh. This is our local PBS station. I have done a one hour GUEST ANNOUNCER program on WQED fm (89.3) 5 times now over the past 10 years. It has been FUN!!! I have volunteered at WQED for almost 30 years.
They say you have more free time when you retire....I find that hard to believe!!!!
