Donald's Story

I have been living in San Jose CA. for the past 47 years. I spent 17 years in the semiconductor industry as a Test Engineer, and, eventually moved into management. I left the tech field in 1991 and went to work for the state of California with EDD, assisting Human Resources in corporate layoffs, and conducting workshops to assist the dislocated worker in acquiring the skills to re-enter the labor market. Concurrent with my state service, I performed motivational seminars for senior citizens and convicted felons in the California State Parole System. have always had a love for music and songwriting. If it weren't for the blessing to play football, I definitely would have been in the marching band; they were the best! I have been DJing for over 30 years, working in night clubs, and performing for private parties, weddings, and you name it. However, I'm starting to slow down (Ha). I love to play golf when the knees and hip are in agreement. Bertha and I are no longer together, but we remain great friends. We have two sons, Don Jr., and Dorian Paul. We have 5 grandchildren. However, two passed away; they are in heaven now. God speed to all of my classmates. Go Pirates!
