Donald's Story
Since Graduation I have been working through mid management. Had many ups and downs financially, but have managed to buy the house I grew up in.
When I first left School, I did attend a college in Philadelphia, and recieved an Associates degree in Broadcast communications. I started working sound and lighting for a touring Heavy Metal band. Did that for a few years, eventually becoming a Bass player in that same band. In 1993 we inked a record deal with Geffen records, just in time for their merger with Sony which voided our deal.
It was fun back then. I can honestly say I am probably one of only a few musicians that has played in front of 20,000 people but have never sold a record.
I had lost most of my weight during the 5 years i was with that group but developed a demon on my back. Alcohol. When I quit drinking I quit the band. I gained a good deal more weight back....Expand for more
I have watched my weight fluctuate like a roller coaster. My top weight was a few years back I hit 380 lbs. Most recently I have finally broken the 300 pound plateau going backwards. I am now only ten pounds heavier then 1986.
I am looking forward to attending a class reunion. I want to see some of the people I remember from going to Woodlyn Elementry all through high school.
24 years since we all escaped from prison in 1986. Every time a reunion has been announced, It has been at a time when I could not take a night off. The 5 year reunion I was playing at LaMours in NYC, and then going to boston the next night. The 10 year reunion I was working in Seattle. I don't remember if there was another one but I was working if there was one. My life is finally starting to stablise so that if their is one in 2011, I think I might be able to make it.
Thanks for looking.
