Donald's Story
Life
Born in Stowe, Vermont, on 4 Aug 1935. Started elementary school in Ticonderoga, New York; finished grade school in Albion, Indiana; graduated from high school in LaPorte City, Iowa. Attended Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan Univ.) before enlisting in U.S.Air Force in 1954. Left the Regular Air Force in 1959, entered the AF Reseves. er was in Military Personnel. I had to retire from the Air Force Reserve as a captain due to a heart attack in 1974. Retired from civil service in May 1987. Keeping busy now doing Security work at Wright State University. Cannot find a comfortable rocking chair. Still married to Donna L. Faunce -- since Feb. 1955. Seven children, 13 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren. (Now you know why I am still working to spoil the greatgrandchildren.)
